Day 1 arrival Yerevan
You arrive in the Armenian capital Yerevan. 
Day 2 “SYMPHONY OF STONES”: GARNI – GEHGARD
In the morning the car will take us to village Banavan from where we will start our hike. We will see amazing basalt rock formation, a result of volcano eruption. This amazing geological monument is called “Symphony of Stones”. Our hike will finish in Garni village, where we will visit Garni temple (1st c.) which is the only survived pagan temple of heathen culture in Armenia. Nowadays the ruins of the royal palace and the bathroom with a stunning mosaic work can be found near the temple. After lunch in the private house drive to visit an outstanding monument of medieval Armenian architecture – Geghard monastery listed as UNESCO World Heritage Site. Return back to Yerevan. Dinner and overnight in Yerevan. Hiking distance 3 km, 1 hour ?100m ?100m
DAY 3 Khor Virap – Amaghu- Noravank - Yeghegnadzor
Today we travel to Ararat Valley which is located the slopes of the biblical Mount Ararat, where we will visit Khor Virap monastery, this complex embodies the adoption of Christianity in Armenia in 301 AD. Then we drive to the province of deep gorges and fast streaming rivers: Vayots Dzor. On the way we will visit the Areni-1 cave complex is a cave in the Areni village. In 2010, it was announced that the earliest known shoe was found in the cave. Continue to Noravank monastery with intricate carvings, situated among the freakish plumb rosy cliffs. Here we will have a pleasant walk via old path of monks towards Noravank monastery through picturesque reddish rocks. After visit of Norvanak bus transfer to Yeghegnadzor city. Dinner and overnight at the private house. Hiking distance 5 km, 1.5 hours ?90m ?120m
DAY 4 Yeghegnadzor – Sev Sar – Dilijan
In the morning we drive towards Selim pass, following the ancient trade route – part of Silk Road. Here we stop at Selim caravanserai, a very well preserved monument of the 14th century, serving a shelter for merchants. After start hike to Sev Sar observatory of 5-3 millennium BC.  We continue our journey to the beautiful rolling valley framed by the mountains of the Lesser Caucasus to resort town Dilijan. On the way stop at Sevan lake. Being one of the biggest high-altitude lakes in the world (1900m) it is often referred to as the “Pearl of Armenia”. In the resort town of Dilijan you will have a pleasant walk through a museum street, with the buildings preserved from 19-century with the ceramics workshop and woodcarvers’ studio Hiking distance 10 km, 4 hours ?600m ?600m
DAY 5 Dilijan Shamakhyan – Haghartsin – Haghpat
In the morning the bus will take us to village Shamakhyan. Starts hiking until Shamakhyan village, a district of Dilijan. In front of you is Hagartsin Mt. Continue hiking to the summit of Hagartsin Mountain. Passing the summit descend until Hagartsin monastery. Shamakhyan district and Hagartsin are located on opposite sides of Mt. Hagartsin’s foot part. Transfer to village Haghpat. Lunch picnic on the way. Overnight in Haghpat village.  Hiking distance 12 km, 5 hours ?600m ?500m
DAY 6 Haghpat – Sanahin – Aragats
After breakfast visit Haghpat monastery and starts hiking from Haghpat village to Sanahin village. This village is the birthplace of Mikoyan brothers:  Anastas - a prominent Soviet politician; and Artem – one of the engineers of MIG jets. Today’s hiking route lies between Sanahin and Haghbat villages – both boasting medieval monasteries included in the list of UNESCO World Heritage Sites. The hike will be finished in Sanahin village. Here, visit Sanahin (UNESCO Heritage sites). After lunch at a local restaurant, where you will try the traditional Armenian barbecue, transfer to Aragats village. Overnight at hotel Hiking distance 9 km, 3 hours ?220m ?200m
DAY 7 Aragats village-Aragats crater
We will start hiking to Aragats crater from the hotel. Overnirht in the tent near the waterfall. Total hiking time is 4 hours. There are two options for walking from the Aragats Village to waterfall. Pleasant walk along the Gegharot River. Altitude change is 2,050-2,700. Duration of the transfer is 1.5 hours. Overnight in tent Hiking distance 11 km, 5 hours ? 700m
DAY 8 West peak of Aragats- Stone Lake
After breakfast start ascending to Mt. Aragats. From the bottom of the crater bear to the saddle between West and South peak of the Mt. Aragats. Altitude of the saddle is 3,800m. Then start ascending to the West peak up to the elevation of 4080. From the saddle it is one kilometer until the West peak. This part is very stony and steep. Spending about an hour on the top and admire from the beauty of the nature. After the West peak descend to the saddle and continue climbing to South peak from where descending and finish the hike on the other edge of the Mt. Aragats near Stone lake. Total hiking time is 7-8 hours. Total distance of the hike is 16 km. Altitude change is 2,700-3,500-3,800-4,095-3,200. Near to Aragats’ West summit’s steepness is 25o. Average steepness 10o. Lunch picnic on the way. Dinner and overnight in the tent by the Stone Lake at the elevation of 3,200m. Overnight in tent Hiking distance 15 km, 6-7 hours ? 1100m ?750m
DAY 9 Stone Lake- Amberd- Yerevan
After breakfast start ascending from Stone Lake to the Amberd fortress. The lake is located on the top part of South peak of Mt.Aragats. It is easy down slope walk by the Amberd gorge’s ridge. During the hike you can admire from the deep Amberd gorge and Alpine meadows. From the high altitude the spectacular view of Ararat valley and Mt. Ararat is seen. Near the fortress the bus will be waiting for us to take us to Yerevan. Distance of the hike is 13 km. Duration of the hike is 4.5 hours. Altitude change is 3,200-2,200m. Lunch near the fortress. Dinner and overnight in Yeravan. Hiking distance 12 km, 4.5 hours ? 100m ?1000m
DAy 10 departure
Transfer to the airport.
